You're already doing the work. Why not do it smarter?
Stacey Bahr at Land Rover San Jose has sent 2,419 CarFilms since February 2023. Every one could have gone from her phone instead. Doug on why that's the smarter way to do the same work.

[0:00] You're probably already taking videos of cars and texting them to your clients, and that's a great start. But the reason that you need to use CarFilm is that it's going to change your ability to see what your customers are doing with those videos that you send.
[0:13] You see, if I film something on my phone and I text it to somebody, I have no idea what they do with that. Maybe they have read receipts and I can see that they received it, but did they watch it? Did they watch it again? Did they send it to anybody else? That's all information that you won't have when you're sending things directly from your phone.
[0:31] But when you use CarFilm, not only are you going to be able to send that video and get analytics back, but you're going to brand yourself. Because remember, every CarFilm video is going to have your dealership's name, your name, your phone number, and your email branded on every video you send.
[0:50] That way, there's no chance that your customer won't remember who you are. And underneath that video will be your dealership's website.
[0:57] So when the video is over, they land back on the dealership website and can get back into shopping mode. They won't end up back in their text messages where they can easily go and start doing something else.
[1:08] So why CarFilm? You're already doing the work. Now do it smarter and get better results because of it.
The feature
Same video. More to show for it.
Stacey Bahr recorded her first CarFilm on February 14, 2023. She sells at Land Rover San Jose, in the middle of Silicon Valley, to buyers who get pitched by every polished app on the market.
Her buyers are exactly the people a rep might text a quick video from the camera roll and move on. Stacey chose CarFilm instead, video after video, for more than three and a half years.
2,009 videos recorded. 2,419 sends. 5,585 views on the other side. Every send was a choice to open CarFilm instead of her phone's share sheet. Why?
Because a video from the camera roll can't tell her if anyone watched. CarFilm can: whether they watched, how long they stayed, and whether they came back for a second look. Same video, same work. What changes is what she knows after she hits send.
She recorded her latest on October 30. She's still choosing CarFilm.
This week's play
Send through CarFilm. Not through your phone.
You already film the walkaround. You already type the client's name into a message. You already hit send. The question is whether all of that work goes to a system that remembers whether they watched, how long, and what came next, or to your camera roll, where the moment lives once and dies there. Stacey chose the system 2,419 times. Here's the four-step.
The play · run it this week
-
Record it in CarFilm, not your camera. Walkaround, voiceover, feature demo. Nothing changes about how you film.
-
Send it from CarFilm to the one buyer it answers. Named person, named question. Text, email or your CRM, the way you send anything else.
-
Let CarFilm keep score. You'll see whether they watched, how long they stayed, and whether they came back.
-
Open your dashboard Friday. Work the deal of whoever watched twice. A buyer who came back for the second watch is closer than they're telling you.
Say this
I sent this through CarFilm so you can watch whenever it fits your day. If it raises any questions, hit me back.
Want Sam to film one for your store? Send us a car and we'll send you a CarFilm the way this play runs it.
